30 Days of Truth: Day 20: Your views on drugs and alcohol.
They each have their place. However, when people shop doctors to get more narcotic meds because they are addicted, I have issues with that. There should be a system in place to prevent doctor shopping. Also, when people smuggle drugs from another country, they should be turned in by their families. These people need help. It is the same with alcohol. There may be a time when binge drinking turns into functional alcoholism. At that time, the alcoholic needs to get help. Drugs and alcohol can ruin lives (and I have not even addressed illegal drugs) and not just the lives of the addicts.
